The BF2 is a full-size folding knife, especially suited for professional use by military or police officers in the field. The handle is solid and comfortable, with the reversible clip becoming a useful and comfortable thumb rest in a reverse grip.

The distinctive recessed flat areas in the handle provide access to the opening "pins," which do not protrude from the knife when closed. The flat blade is available in drop point or tanto form, with an extra thick, robust tip (as in the BF1 model).

The renowned LINER-LOCK blade locking system is combined with a manually activated, crankcase-protected secondary locking system.
